The new school year is a perfect time to make a fresh start and this September Change4Life is asking families to make a healthy change when the kids go back to the classroom. Families are being encouraged to take on one change for the better, for six weeks, to help them lead healthier lifestyles for longer.

Families can register for the Smart Restart campaign and pick one healthy change to try when the kids go back to school. The changes encourage healthier eating and moving more such as swapping to healthier lunches and snacks and keeping a limit on screen time. Once signed up families will receive support from Change4Life via email and text messages for six weeks, as well as details of special offers in stores and virtual rewards for the kids. There are loads of great tips and ideas to keep families on track with their change, along with a free smartphone app to help inspire people to keep it up wherever they are.

Keeping active and eating well are crucial for adults and children to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It can even boost kids’ concentration at school helping them to make the best possible start in the new school year.
